Well its almost been a year since Georgina and I registered ‘elki design’ as a business, and today our online store is LIVE! Hooray.
A little encounter with Optus internet (for some reason disconnected me) and a few tears, have only added to our complete joy (and a little relief) that elki is up. So just some housekeeping news:
Store: In keeping with our desire to keep things all cost-effective, we’ve decided to have one flat postage and handling fee per transaction. So no matter how much you buy, it will only cost you $8.00 in P&H! Cause believe me, there is nothing worse than paying more in P&H than the actual product!

Blog: you may have noticed being redirected from my old blogger blog. Our swish new site has my blog developed into it. So please update your bookmarks with the new address. As you’ve probably noticed, you need to click ‘more’ to read the end of the blog entry. This will then show you the comments below. Its a little different from Blogger, but it will keep the blog looking clean and tidy.
Twitter: Yes, I too have jumped on the bandwagon and decided to join Twitter. So as I’m getting my head around it, if you too are also a twitterer (such a word?), please tell me, and we can follow each other. You’ll find us under elkidesign.
Facebook: That’s right, what is someone without a facebook page – elki had to have one! If you search for us, become a fan – we’d love to have your company.
Design: Just a reminder to everyone, that elki design can also design your next logo, business card, flyer, website or wedding stationery. I am a qualified graphic designer and running a freelance design business, and love nothing more than creating beautiful designs.
Ok, I think i’ve covered everything, please let me know how you go around elki’s new site. If you would like to join our monthly newsletter, please do so on the left hand side. We would love to hear from you all about what you think. Can’t wait to hear from you all. Em x

Your new website is lovely, suits your brand & your lines are great too.
When my grandchildren come alon I will know where to shop (they used to have rosbud sinlets & pretty bloomers when they were babies, 26,24 & 20 yrs ago). Great to see they are still classics!
Good luck with your new business
